SAVANNAH ROGERS — DINING SERVICES DIRECTOR, INTERIM EXECUTIVE CHEF
The Preston of the Park Cities offers an option for every appetite with ever-changing menus featuring upscale selections and comfort food favorites. This dynamic kitchen needs a talented professional at the helm who can do it all. With more than 10 years of experience, Dining Services Director Savannah Rogers is just that person. Leaders are only as great as their teams and Savannah has a very talented assembly of chefs and servers alike. Leading the kitchen as Executive Chef is Jonathan Rivera who has been in the industry for over 20 years. Running the front of house as our Restaurant manager is Ashley White whose attention to detail and bubbly personality both welcomes our residents and assures top-notch quality of service.
In 2018, Chef Savannah started as a sous chef at The Preston of the Park Cities and has quickly worked her way up the culinary ladder. There is nothing she cannot do. Having perfected just about every job in her profession from server to bartender to room service manager and even running her own catering business, she has quite the well-rounded knowledge of the food industry.
Her passion for food started in the kitchen alongside her grandmother when she was just old enough to hold a whisk. For Chef Savannah, food is a language of love that everyone can understand. She believes locally raised foods and high-quality ingredients are keys to making the perfect dish that everyone can enjoy. She is also passionate about a balance of classic and modernistic cuisine. By celebrating worldwide flavors and tastes, she believes the team can transport residents back to their childhood while also focusing on fresh concepts and flavors for an exquisite blend of upscale selections and comfort food favorites.
While attending culinary school at Johnson & Wales University, Chef Savannah began her career as a line cook at Ocean Prime in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from college with a culinary arts degree, she joined the dining team at the Four Seasons Hotel and Resort in Dallas. There she excelled as a line chef and later accepted a promotion to room service manager, a role she enjoyed and used as valuable front of house experience as she interacted with hotel visitors and associates daily.
